Transform, Equip, Impact
Transforming young people from the dark of this world to the light of Christ.
Equip each young person with the tools to live a life reflecting their choice to serve God.
Impact other young people
El Redentor Presbyterian was established in the early 80’s by what is known today as the Central Florida Presbytery. The church began meeting at Westminster Presbyterian Church de Casselberry, Florida. Through the years, children and youth ministries began to developed as the church began to grow. In 1995, the church moved into their current location in Oviedo, Florida. By then the youth ministry began to evolve into one of the most important ministry of the church. Activities included Friday Night gatherings, yearly massive retreat hosted by the church, youth music ministry, weekly cell-groups and more.
In 2007, the church decided to staff two Directors of Youth to help meet the needs not just for the youth in the church, but also the youth in the community.
Ruthie Merced is the Director of the High School Ministry, College and Young Adults.
Luis A. Boada (A.K.A. Tony) is the Director of the Middle School Ministry
Both ministry focuses on helping equip young people with the tools they need to live a life with Christ. Each group has regular classes, Bible studies, and outings.
Since we are eager to grow our youth groups spiritually and numerically, we look
to expand our ministry to include more opportunities to contact and engage our
own youth and to help our students to reach out to other teens.
